Morning conversations with my son

Ronin and I get special time in the morning when I drive him to daycare. We sing songs and chat. This special time really starts my day in the right way as he makes me so happy and I usually can ride that feeling all day. Once I drop him off I always get kisses and lots of “buh-byes” as I walk out the door. He never cries at daycare and always seems happy to be there.

While I was driving into the daycare Ronin sees the school and says “yeah school.” After I unload him from the car, Ronin looks up into the sky. He noticed the birds (seagulls) flying over the daycare.

Ronin: birds fly fly
I said: yes they are.
Ronin: birds sound tweet-tweet. He then runs up the ramp into the school flapping his little arms while he says “fly fly”. He then stops and sees a man carrying a baby.
Ronin: Look MA – baby. baby cry.
I said: yes babies cry - that is how they speak – because they don’t have words like big boys.
He thought about this (while placing a finger to his chin thoughtfully and said): I talk!
I said: I know. You are speaking very well lately.
Ronin said: I know! I said it!
